The objective of Gentle Touch Learning Center is to equip the children with the necessary skills to be successful in kindergarten, first grade and to continue having a desire for knowledge. We are focused on providing project-based learning environment (PBL) which is a learn-by-doing curriculum that integrates core subjects with real-life problems to be solved. Gentle Touch Learning Center goal is to provide children from diverse background the necessary skills needed to be successful as they enter kindergarten and first grade in public school. Our center will begin the process of learning by introducing the children to problems or projects that need to be solve or completed. Project-based learning (PBL) is learn-by-doing curriculum that integrates core subjects with real-life problems to be solved.
The Mission of Gentle Touch Learning Center is to create a safe learning environment for students. Allow them to explore the world around them. The goal of our center is to facilitate Project Base learning for children from diverse economic families.
Gentle Touch Learning Center teaching staff is comprise of loving and dedicated teachers one of who has been teaching for over twenty years, Virginia State licensed teacher, college graduates and a Computer Science Major at Old Dominion College. All employees are CPR certified and holds a CAN certificate.
